One of the great things about living in NYC is that it’s always evolving. I love how buildings, people and stores come and go. And you never know when that’s going to happen. You could go by the same store every single day and then suddenly, it’s different.
This is also one of the reasons Utah and Arizona and all that static beauty depresses me — it never changes!! Same old rocks, day in, day out — for eons. Who can stand that!!?!
Anyway, back to NYC and its evolution. I was walking in my Brooklyn neighborhood and noticed that the Golden Dragon Chinese restaurant — overnight — had become Yummy Taco. Here’s the weird part — it has the same staff.
Then I looked at the takeout menu, and noticed it had not changed as much as I thought:
– General Tso’s Tacos
– Hot & Sour Gazpacho
– Chicken with black bean sauce burritos
Could this really be happening? The answer is no! But really, everything else in this blog item is true…except for the menu. That’s not posted yet!!
Very funny!!! I hope they still have the white and brown rice that we use to supplement our dinners!
